Amazon kamala Kallax, the daughter of Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, was killed in an attack on her home in Los Angeles, according to a post on her personal blog.

KallAX, a spokeswoman for Amazon told the Associated Press on Friday.

KALLAX’s death comes at a time when Amazon is under increasing scrutiny over its privacy practices.

Her mother, the founder of a security company, said her death is a wake-up call to all Amazon employees to do more to keep data private.

“It’s an amazing tragedy and a reminder that there’s always a price to pay for the trust we put in the Amazon community,” she said in a statement.

A second person was killed early Friday in Chicago, according the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

That person was also believed to have been hacked.

The company has not yet released the identity of the second person, who was shot in the chest, or the identity and condition of the dead man.

The investigation into the other person’s death is ongoing.
